Q: Who can rent your equipment?

A: Our rentals are available exclusively to approved businesses and professionals.  If you’re a contractor, landscaper, property manager, or other service provider, you can apply for access here.

Q: Why do you only rent to businesses and qualified users? Am I a qualified user?

A: We rent exclusively to businesses and qualified users to ensure our equipment is used safely, responsibly, and for professional purposes.  Experienced operators tend to take better care of the tools, which helps reduce damage, minimize downtime, and keep our rates low.

A qualified user is someone who:

  • Has experience operating skid steer or similar machinery
  • Understands how to safely transport and use heavy equipment
  • Treats rental tools like they treat their own

If you’re an experienced operator, contractor, or someone with the right knowledge and mindset — even if you’re not part of a large company - we encourage you to apply for access here.  We’ll review applications individually to make sure it’s a good fit.

This policy helps us focus on serving serious users who rely on well-maintained tools to get real work done.  In turn, this lowers our overhead — and that means we can offer better rates. Lower rates mean better margins for you, and more savings for your customers. Everyone wins.

Q: Is there a cost to register or apply?

A: No — registration is free.  We just ask a few quick questions to make sure we’re a good fit for your business needs.

Q: How do pickup and return times work, and how do I schedule them?

A: You’ll select your pickup and return dates and times using the built-in scheduler — look for the big blue bar near the top of each product page. Once you’ve chosen your time slots, click “Apply” on the calendar, then “Add to Cart” on the product page.  Note that if no times are selected, the default times of 9:00AM pickup and 5:30PM drop off will automatically be applied.

After you apply your dates, the blue bar will turn black — this simply indicates your times have been saved. You can click the black bar at any time to reopen the scheduler and make changes.

The system will automatically calculate your rental price based on the exact duration you select. No need to call or email to coordinate — just pick the times that work best for you.

Pickups and returns are available seven days a week, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. After placing your order, you’ll receive a confirmation email showing your scheduled times. If you need to make a change, just reach out — we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Q: Where do I pick up the equipment?

A: We're located just off M-59 in Waterford, right near the Pontiac Airport. While we're not directly on M-59, we're only a couple hundred yards down a small side street — easy to find once you have the address.

Because this is a private facility and not open to the general public, the exact pickup location will be included in your confirmation email after booking, or you can request it after registering. Once you've completed your first rental, you’ll know exactly where to go next time.

Q: What if I finish my job early or need additional time?

A: We understand that things don’t always go according to plan — sometimes you finish ahead of schedule, and sometimes you need a little more time.

If you finish early, feel free to contact us to arrange an earlier return. We’ll do our best to accommodate, but please note that rental prices are based on your scheduled pickup and return times, and we do not offer partial refunds for unused time.

If you need more time, simply log into your account and book a new rental period. All additional bookings are subject to availability.

Q: What attachments are included with the rental?

A: Each rental of the mini skid steer includes a standard, 42" bucket — ideal for general lifting, grading, and cleanup work. Additional attachments like the 4-in-1 bucket, grapple, auger, or excavator are available and can be rented separately at standard daily, weekend or weekly rates. You can add them during the booking process to suit the job you're tackling.  If you are renting the mini skid steer, the trailer hitch attachment is available at no charge - just add it to your online order (deposit required.)

Q: How do I pick up the equipment?

A: You bring your own trailer to our location just a coule hundered yards off of M59 in Waterford, MI. - right near the airport. We’ll have everything prepped and ready for a smooth handoff during your scheduled pickup time.

Q: Can I rent over a weekend or for multiple days?

A: Absolutely. In addition to a low daily price, we offer special weekend and weekly rates to keep things affordable for longer jobs.

Q: How does the weekend rate work, and can it apply to longer rentals like Friday to Monday?

A: Yes! Our weekend discount applies anytime your rental includes a full, 3-day weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), even if it starts earlier or ends later. For example, if you rent from Friday to Monday (4 days):

  • The first three days (Friday–Sunday) are considered the weekend and qualify for our 25% discount.
  • The fourth day (Monday) is billed at the standard, already low daily rate.

Example:
Regular daily rate = $180
Weekend (3 days): $540 → discounted to $405
Monday: $180
Total: $585 (plus tax)

You get more time with the machine without paying full price for every day — perfect for squeezing in extra work around the weekend.

The discount is applied automatically during checkout — no codes or jumping through hoops required!

Q: Why is there a security deposit, and how is it calculated?

A: Each item in your order includes a refundable security deposit, which helps cover potential damage or loss. The deposit is the same, no matter the rental period, and is refundable when the equipment is returned in good condition. Deposits are shown clearly at checkout.

Q: Can I rent just an attachment without the mini skid steer?

A: Yes — if you have a compatible mini skid steer, you're welcome to rent attachments on their own.  We will be happy to provide a quick walkthrough of how the attachment works, if needed.

Please note: It's your responsibility to ensure your machine is compatible with the attachment (coupler type, hydraulic flow, size, etc.). We’re happy to test fit it at our facility, but we cannot guarantee performance or compatibility once the attachment leaves our premises. The customer is responsible for any and all damage caused by use on an incompatible or improperly configured machine.

Q: Do I need to return the equipment cleaned or fueled?

A: Yes — please return equipment reasonably clean and with the fuel topped off. This helps us keep everything ready for the next customer.
